What is W.A.S.C?

W.A.S.C. is an acronym that stands for: The Western Association of Schools and Colleges.  W.A.S.C. is one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States."  Please click on the link to visit the W.A.S.C. website and learn more about this important organization.  

 

EPHS AND WASC

Graduation Outcomes

 

 An accredited school chooses areas of study that every student should be able to do, know, and understand or value to be successful in the real world.  These "areas of study" are called Graduation Outcomes.  EPHS has chosen the following Graduation Outcomes:

 

1. ACADEMIC ACHIEVERS WHO:

  1. Improve literacy and mathematics skills

  2. Present ideas and solve problems using a variety of strategies

  3. Apply academic skills to real life situations

 

2. TECHNOLOGY USERS WHO:

  1. Demonstrate computer literacy and proficiency

  2. Use technology as a learning tool

 

3. INDEPENDENT LEARNERS WHO:

  1. Develop the ability to set goals for personal, academic, and post-secondary learning

  2. Acquire organizational and time management skills 

  3. Develop decision making skills and explore life options
